Obituary of Andrew Fessock

Andrew Fessock South Plainfield- Andrew Fessock, 88, died on Thursday, April 9, 2009 in the Haven Hospice at JFK Medical Center in Edison Born in Newark, Andrew has been a life long resident of South Plainfield. He took special interest in the sports programs in town and was a true fan. A Veteran of the U.S. Army, Andrew served during WWII . He was employed as a sheet metal worker for 35 years with Harris Steel in South Plainfield He is pre-deceased by his sister Mary Dudak and 3 brothers, John, Joe, and Mike a grandson Kyle Slavin and by his sister in-law Angie Fessock. Surviving are his wife, Mary Fessock, his 2 daughters, Christine Diller and her husband Joseph of South Plainfield and Andrea Slavin of Sarasota, Florida, his brother Pat of Linden, 4 grandchildren, Dana Slavin, Jamie Slavin, Melissa Diller, and Lindsay Diller. Also surviving are his 2 great grandchildren; Makenna and Camryn and his loving niece Leonore Fessock Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at 9:30 AM in the McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 13, 2009 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM in the funeral home.
