Obituary of Mary Jane Batty

Mary Jane Batty Roselle, NJ - Mary Jane Batty, 83, died on Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at JFK Medical Center in Edison. Born in Naughright, NJ to the late James and Rosemary (Henderson) Batty, Mary Jane had lived in Irvington before settling to Roselle in 1970. Mary Jane was a clerk for the former NJ Bell Atlantic Phone Company out of Elizabeth. She was a member of St. Joe's RC Church in Roselle and a former member of St. Leo's RC Church in Irvington. She is predeceased by her brother John Batty in 1995. Mary Jane leaves behind her dear friend of over forty years Betty and her husband Jim McGarry of South Plainfield, their children and by her nephews Thomas and his wife Irene and James Batty as well as five great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will take place on Monday, November 15, 2010 beginning 11:00 AM at St. Leo's RC Church, 103 Myrtle Avenue, Irvington, NJ 07111. Burial will follow in Mount Hebron Cemetery located in Montclair. Visitation will be on Sunday, November 14, 2010 from 4-6 PM in the McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080.
