Obituary of Rosanne J. Cucurello

Rosanne J. Cucurello Plainfield - Rosanne J. (DeAndrea) Cucurello, 87, died on Saturday, December 6, 2008 at Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank. Born in Plainfield, Mrs. Cucurello resided in South Plainfield for most of her life and for the past 12 years she lived in Plainfield. She worked for the Burroughs Corp. in Piscataway for several years retiring in 1983 and recently she was honored by the Mayor of South Plainfield for her contribution to the war effort as an authentic Rosie the Riveter. A member of the Suburban's Women's Club in South Plainfield, Mrs. Cucurello held various officer positions and also served as Past President. In addition, she is was member of the South Plainfield Senior Citizens and Sacred Heart RC Church also located in South Plainfield. She is pre-deceased by her husband Daniel J. who died in 1986, her son Donald J. who died in 2003and by 2 brothers; Alfred DeAndrea Sr. and Vincent DeAndrea Sr. Surviving are her daughters; Nancy Jo Cucurello of Jersey City and Barbara DeSantis and her husband Dino of Brick, her sister Louise Petrella of Florida and her brother Joe DeAndrea Sr. and his wife Rose also of Florida, her sister in-law Lydia DeAndrea of Metuchen, her grandchildren; Amanda Beattie and her husband John, Thomas Delaney and his wife Denise and Nicholas Cucurello and his wife Denise. Also surviving are her great grandchildren; Jordan, Jacqueline, Michael, Jack and Danielle. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2008 at 9:15 AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield followed by a 10:00 AM funeral mass at Sacred Heart RC Church, South Plainfield. Interment will follow at Holy Redeemer Cemetery, South Plainfield. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10, 2008 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM in the funeral home
