Obituary of Victoria B. Hopeck

At the age of 79, Victoria B. (Brockley) Hopeck, known to many as Vicky, passed away on Monday, March 5, 2018 at her residence. Born in Plainfield to the late George and Caroline (Sawcyzk) Brockley, she grew up in South Plainfield. Vicky married the late Edward Hopeck in 1960 and settled to Middlesex in 1961. She worked as an executive assistant for Union Carbide Corporation in Bound Brook. When she had her three sons, she took time off and enjoyed raising her family. She then later joined back into the workforce where she worked at the Green Brook Inn. Vicky's loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband Edward in 1996 and son John in 2017, Vicky leaves behind two loving sons; Edward and his wife Jill of Bridgewater and Andrew and his wife Lorie of Green Brook. She will be missed by her daughter-in-law Shana Hopeck of Berkley Heights and by her six grandchildren; Edward, Amanda, Matthew, Jonathan, Peyton and Reagan. Visitation will be held in Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Road, Middlesex, NJ 08846 on Friday, March 9, 2018 from 4-8pm and on Saturday, March 10, 2018 beginning 9:30 am. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 10:00 am followed by burial at Resurrection Burial Park in Piscataway.
