Obituary of Marion Flesher

Marion (Walsh) Flesher, 89, died on Monday, June 18, 2018 in Branford, CT. Born in Garwood NJ, Marion resided in Westfield NJ prior to living in South Plainfield for 59 years, before relocating to Connecticut in 2014. Marion worked as a Bell Switch Board operator, and left that job to start her family. Mrs. Flesher served her family as a homemaker and was also a former parishioner of Sacred Heart RC Church in South Plainfield, where she worked in the Parish Office as a volunteer as well as serving as a member of the Rosary Altar Society for many years. Marion is predeceased by her husband Edward, a sister Dorothy and two brothers, Edward and Harry and by one nephew. She is survived by her daughter, Karen Greene and her husband Alan of Guilford, CT; son, David and his wife Maria of Bremerton, WA; grandchildren, Megan Greene of Philadelphia PA, Erin Greene of Lambertville NJ, Maura Taylor and husband Mitchell of West Chester PA and Patricia Baker and husband Nathan of Woodinville, WA; a niece and five nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 22, 2018 at 9:15AM in the South Plainfield James W. Conroy Funeral Home, 2456 Plainfield Rd. South Plainfield, NJ 07080, followed by a 10AM funeral mass at Sacred Heart RC Church, South Plainfield. Entombment will follow at St. Gertrude's Cemetery Mausoleum.
