Obituary of Mary Zajac

Mary Zajac, 91, died Wednesday May 2, 2018 Brighton Gardens of Edison. Born and raised in Erie, PA, Mary is a long time resident of South Plainfield and faithful communicant of Our Lady of Czestochowa RC Church. In her younger years, Mary worked on the assembly line for Dranetz of South Plainfield. Mary enjoyed knitting, gardening and baking. She was also an avid Mets fan and will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother. Predeceased by her husband who died in 1994, Walter Zajac; surviving are her two children, Eileen Tiffenbach and husband David and Anthony Zajac and wife Barbara, two sisters, Theresa Bielinski and husband Joseph and Irene Butrico and sister in law, Bette Jaskulski. She will also be missed by her two grandsons, Brian and Matthew. Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 7, 2018 at 9:15AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue South Plainfield, NJ 07080 followed by a funeral mass in Our Lady of Czestochowa RC Church at 10AM. Entombment will follow in Lake Nelson Memorial Park, Piscataway. Family and friends may gather in the funeral home at 8:30AM on Monday.
