Obituary of Betty L. Bocam

Piscataway - Betty L. Bocam, 70, died suddenly Saturday February 24, 2018 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Somerville. Born in Woodbury, Betty resided in South Plainfield before settling to Piscataway in the 1970's. She retired from Solaris Heath System in Plainfield where she was held the position of materials purchaser. Active with North Plainfield Baptist Church in North Plainfield, Betty played both the organ and piano for services. Betty was also an active reader, enjoying mystery and romance novels and enjoyed, puzzles, Friday night card games, movies and in her younger years, bowling. Predeceased by her husband, Richard Marsh; parents, William and Catharine Fry, nephew, Michael Fry, and great nephew, John Daniel; surviving are her six siblings, Marilyn Fry of Allentown, Janice Krug and husband George of North Plainfield, David Fry and wife Harriett of Bloomingdale, Kenneth Fry and wife Kathie of South Plainfield, Donald Fry and wife Dorothy of South Plainfield and Steven Fry and wife Colleen of South Bound Brook. She will also be missed by her nieces, nephews and a host of extended family. Funeral services will begin on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at 8:30AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue South Plainfield NJ followed by a funeral service in North Plainfield Baptist Church, North Plainfield. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery. Family and friends may gather in the funeral home on Wednesday from 2-4PM & 7-9PM.
