Obituary of Thomas H. Sisco

Thomas H. Sisco, 65, of Plainfield, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2018 at Overlook Medical Center in Summit.
Born and raised in the Hawthorne/Paterson area to the late Harold and Agnes Sisco, he went on to work as a caterer for Delta Airlines before beginning his 30 year career as a sales and parts supervisor in the industrial HVAC industry.
Thomas and his husband Salvatore settled in Plainfield in 1989. He enjoyed gardening, traveling, and was an incredible cook. He always maintained a beautiful home and enjoyed the quality time spent entertaining at home with his friends and family.
Surviving are his beloved husband Salvatore Mauceri, his dear siblings Joan Sisco-Harttnet and husband William and Ronald Sisco and wife Christine, his sister in law Marie Mauceri, as well as his extended family and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2018 from 5:00 to 8:00PM at the McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00AM on Friday, February 16, 2018 at The Church of the Sacred Heart, South Plainfield. Family and friends are welcome to gather at the funeral home beginning at 9:00AM.
Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains.
Memorial contributions may be made in Thomas' memory to St. Francis Breadline, 144 West 32nd St. New York NY 10001
