The Passing of Huda

Huda Dakhil transitioned from this life around 6PM Eastern United States Time on Thursday, 14 November 2024. She passed surrounded by her three sons, engulfed in prayers, meditations, and expressions of gratitude, love, and farewell. Her passing was in relative peace, quiet, and comfort. Priests administered rites, and everyone around her afforded her the privacy and respect needed for her to transition well in accordance to her faith and wishes. She will be sorely missed but she suffers no more.

About Huda’s Birth and Family

Huda was born in Jaffa, Palestine, on 2 September 1946.

Her parents are Farah Dakhil and Farideh Al-Moallem, both of whom have passed.

Her siblings are
Sami Dakhil, who resides in Spain, married to Maria Graciela Carcovich Harman; his children are Carlos and Claudia
Albert Dakhil, who resides in Lebanon, married to Odette El Murr; his children are Hala, Farah, and Hani.
Laila Dakhil, who has parted this world, married to Malik Matar; her children are Linda and Bassam.
Elias Dakhil, who resides in Lebanon.

Her husband was Khalil El Far, who has parted this world.

Her children are
Ibrahim El Far, who resides in the United States, married to Diala Ezzeddine; his child is Khalil Jubran.
Shadi El Far, who resides in the United Arab Emirates, married to Bissan Korban; his children are Yasmine, Adonis, and Rayan.
Hadi El Far, who resides in the United States, married to Abla Tannous; his children are Raneem and Rakan.

Huda passed away in New Jersey, United States, on 14 November 2024. She was 78.
