Obituary of Catherine J. Pellerano

Plainfield – Catherine Pellerano, 90, passed away Saturday, July 27, 2024 at the Woodlands in Plainfield.

 

Catherine a lifelong resident of Plainfield was one of four children born to the late John and Jeanie Eskesen.  She graduated from Holy Trinity High School in Westfield in 1950 as has been a communicant of St. Bernard of Clairvaux and St. Stanislaus Kostka Church for over 67 years.  She worked with United National Bank in their human resource department until 1998.

 

She enjoyed reading, especially mysteries and watching Perry Mason.  In her younger years, she volunteered with the St. Bernard’s library and shared her favorite books with numerous friends and family members throughout her life. 

 

Surviving are her six children, Daniel Pellerano, Stephen Pellerano and wife Connie, John Pellerano and wife Theresa, Donald Pellerano and wife Catherine, Clare Pellerano and Anne Bollwage and husband Blaise.  She will also be missed by her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

 

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 1, 2024 at 9:45AM in the McCriskin – Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue South Plainfield NJ 07080 followed by a funeral mass at 11AM in St. Bernard of Clairvaux and St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, 368 Sumner Avenue, Plainfield NJ 07062.

 

Burial will follow in Holy Redeemer Cemetery, South Plainfield.

 

Family and friends may gather in the funeral home on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 from 4PM – 7PM.
