Obituary of Lisa Siegel Pirone
Lisa Siegel Pirone, 53, passed away suddenly surrounded by her family after a brief illness on Thursday, July 25, 2024 at Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington.
Born in Plainfield, Lisa was raised in South Plainfield and graduated from South Plainfield high School in 1989.
Following high school she pursued a career in nursing ultimately becoming a Registered Nurse.
She was currently working as a Traveling Nurse at Cooper University Medical Center but has worked at many hospitals throughout the state. She has provided care and made so many friends along the way at St. Barnabas, Newark Beth Israel, Princeton Medical Center, JFK Medical Center but most notably at Hunterdon Medical Center where she spent many years and was able to be surrounded by many friends and co-workers in her final days.
Those who were fortunate enough to know her knew how full of life she truly was. She was the funny, crazy sister and friend who could always be counted on for a wild time. Her unpredictable antics and infectious energy make Lisa the life of the party.
But nothing or no one compared to her true passions which was her love for her 4 beloved Vizslas; Daisy, Max, Oliver and Kylo which were her world. She cared for them with unwavering love and dedication, and they were truly her everything. Her nurturing spirit and boundless affection for her canine family were evident to all who knew her.
She is predeceased by her father, Edward who died in 2006 and is survived by her mother, Rita Siegel of South Plainfield; sisters, Lynda Chiarella and her husband Chris of Edison and Jennifer Luersen and her husband Greg of South Plainfield and nieces and nephews, Olivia and Jessica Chiarella and Ryan and Emily Luersen. She will be deeply missed by her human and furry family alike.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024 from 3-7pm in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home for Funerals 2425 Plainfield Ave. South Plainfield, NJ 07080.
