Obituary of Janet Korinchock
Hillsborough – Janet Korinchock, 63, passed away at home on Friday, July 5, 2024.
Born in Plainfield to the late Metro and Florence (Baker) Korinchock, Janet was one of three daughters. Janet graduated from South Plainfield High School in 1978. Janet had a true passion for lakeside living in her dream home on Lake Hopatcong, New Jersey. She found solace and joy in the rhythmic lapping of the waves, the songs of the birds that visited her garden, and the breathtaking sunsets that painted the sky while relaxing on her private boat launch.
Janet worked as a purchaser for various pharmaceutical companies, most notably for Johnson and Johnson for nearly thirty years, and recently Catalent in Somerset. Janet had a passion for cooking, decorating, and shopping. Janet also enjoyed attending social events and taking care of animals, especially birds and cats.
Surviving are her sisters, Sharon Renz and her husband William, and Jo Ann Kornblum and her husband Murray.
Funeral services are private and under the direction of the McCriskin – Gustafson Home for Funerals in South Plainfield.
