Obituary of Charles Louis Frick, III
Charles Louis Frick, III, 72, passed away suddenly at home Wednesday, July 3, 2024 in Whispering Pines, NC.
Born in Elizabeth to the late Olive (Dennis) Charles Louis Frick, II, Charles is the oldest son of their seven children. Charles grew up in Colonia before settling to South Plainfield where he raised his family. In 2009, he retired to Whispering Pines, NC.
Owner and operator of B&L Tire of Edison, Charles always had a passion for cars. He enjoyed off roading in Jeeps, traveling, golfing and fishing. He also was an avid gardener and collector of trinkets.
Predeceased by his parents and brother, Dennis Frick; surviving are his three children, Stacey McCubbin and husband Billy of Ocala, FL, Christina Gawler and husband Mike of Jackson and Charles Frick IV of Rutherford; siblings, Kathy Kozar, Howard Frick, Linda Biezewski, Tommy Frick and Robert Frick.
He will also be missed by his grandchildren, Morgan, Ava, Michael, Christopher, Franki, Riley and Charles V and his great grandson, Colton.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at 9am in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue followed by a funeral mass at 10am in Sacred Heart RC Church, South Plainfield.
Cremation will be held privately.
Family and friends may gather in the funeral home on Friday, July 12, 2024 from 3-7pm.
