Obituary of Kelly Turner

Kelly Turner, 52, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at her home in Green Brook, NJ.

Born to Stephen and Kathleen Turner, in Somerville, NJ, Kelly was a longtime resident of Middlesex, before settling in Green Brook with her husband, Bert Kasar Jr., where the two raised their two daughters.

Kelly attended Kean University, where she studied Biology and graduated with a bachelor’s degree. Following her graduation, she went on to work in Cosmetics Quality Assurance. She began her career at L'Oréal, followed by Medicia, then Arcade Beauty, where she worked for over ten years. The most recent company she worked for was Church and Dwight, where she retired from.

Kelly's life was filled with love and joy. Kelly cherished spending time with her family and often hosted Sunday dinners for everyone to enjoy. She enjoyed spending time outdoors and caring for her plants and garden. Kelly loved the summers she spent with her family at the Jersey Shore. Kelly found joy in trying new experiences and seeing new places. She always had an idea of something new that she and her family could enjoy together, creating new memories. Kelly was nothing but kind, selfless, and a light to be around. Kelly will be dearly missed.

Kelly is survived by her husband, Bertram Kasar Jr., and two daughters, Sarah and Torey Kasar. She will also be missed by her parents, Stephen and Kathleen Turner, brother, Brian Turner and his wife Melissa, and their daughter Norah, along with a host of extended relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held at Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Road, Middlesex, NJ, on Friday, June 21, 2024, from 5 PM to 8 PM.

A prayer service will be held in the funeral home beginning at 7:30 PM.

Cremation services will be held privately.
