My dearest friend, Dottie. I called her Fergie just to get her reaction but she did not like it. Through 78 years she was always there for me even though at a distance most of the time. Oh, we shared so many memories together - 12 years of school, driving with our new license together at age 16, going to the beach, attending Good News Camp as campers and then waitresses, the last being a Zoom class that we shared online with other members of our high school class of 1958 once a month. I cannot believe I no longer can hear her giggle and always comforting remarks or see her smiling face. Words are just inadequate right now for what I feel and actually, I feel numb. Dottie was a good friend, wonderful mother and wife and my personal concern and love goes out to her family.
