Obituary of Natalie Guibleo
Middlesex, NJ – Natalie (Basile) Guibleo, 92, passed away in her sleep on Wednesday, April 17, 2024. Born in Jersey City to the late Louis and Anna (Sarao) Basile, Natalie resided in Jersey City until marriage, and then settled to Middlesex in 1962.
Natalie raised her family in Middlesex and worked alongside her son as a bookkeeper in the family business, The Locker Man. She loved to knit, bake and enjoyed making candy. Very active within the Middlesex Community, Natalie could be found at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Parish. She was a former president and treasurer of the Altar Rosary Society as well as sang in the church choir. Natalie was a life member and former President of the American Legion Post #12 Ladies Auxiliary in Somerville. She also belonged to the forty and eight organization, which is a branch off of the American Legion.
Natalie was a former president of the Lady Elks of Middlesex Elks #1488 and a former president with the Somerset County American Legion. She was a dedicated volunteer with F.I.S.H and when asked, Natalie always was there to lend a listening ear or a helping hand.
Predeceased by her husband Francis in 2009 and four siblings; Louis, Peter, Frank and Rosemarie, Natalie leaves behind her two children; daughter Debra Ann Matuszkiewicz and her husband Brian of Middlesex and son Robert Guibleo also of Middlesex. She will be missed by her grandson Michael Guibleo and by her sister Marianne Seiss of Florida.
Visitation will be held in Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Road, Middlesex, NJ 08846 on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 from 4pm until 7pm and on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 beginning 9:30am.
Funeral services will be held in the funeral home beginning 10:00am on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 followed by a 10:30 am Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Parish in Middlesex. Natalie will be laid to rest beside her husband at Resurrection Burial Park in Piscataway.
