Obituary of Frank W. DeLillo
South Plainfield – Frank W. DeLillo, 69, died Thursday, February 15, 2024 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick surrounded by his loving family.
Frank was born and raised in the Borough Park section of Brooklyn, NY. In 1988, Frank and his wife Kathy settled in South Plainfield, NJ where they raised their two daughters.
After high school, Frank attended the University of Houston, where he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and later obtained his MBA from Pace University. Frank dedicated 34 years of his life to the Accounting Department at Jaros, Baum & Bolles, where he made a significant impact and touched the lives of many colleagues and clients.
Frank had a passion for reading, especially Steven King novels, and was a frequent visitor at the South Plainfield Library. He had a great love for baseball and was a die-hard Yankees fan. In addition to sports, Frank also enjoyed taking trips to the beach and spending time with his “girls”. Frankie D. was a one-of-a-kind man who made an impression on everyone he met. Whether he assigned you a nickname or you were the recipient of one of his repetitive one liners, he always had a way of brightening your day. He was a loving and dedicated Husband, Father, Grandfather, and friend.
Surviving is his wife of 41 years, Kathleen (Clapsis) DeLillo; two daughters, Kristina (Michael) Flynn, and Jenna DeLillo. He will be missed by his two granddaughters, Giovanna and Adriana.
A memorial gathering will be held on March 2, 2024 from 4pm – 6pm in the McCriskin – Gustafson Home for Funerals.
