Obituary of Peter Biro

Peter Biro, a resident of Roosevelt Care Center in Edison, NJ, passed away on December 23, 2023, peacefully with his family at his side.

Born in Budapest, Hungary, on February 18, 1940, Peter always shined in both academics and athletics.  He enjoyed playing soccer and was a professional fencer.  In 1967, he came to the United States to continue with his engineering training.  He met and wed Hannelore Bosch in 1970, where they settled down and raised their three children in Hillsdale, NJ.  Peter enjoyed running the town recreation soccer as well as coaching the travel team.  He took his engineering further by working overseas for almost 20 years in Japan, India, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Philippines, as well as Lahore, Pakistan, where his family lived with him for a couple of years.  He loved traveling around the world and being a part of every culture.  Peter was also an amazing artist and enjoyed sketching, drawing, and painting.

Peter is survived by his three children: Warren Biro and his wife Meg and daughter Ada, Sandra Biro Goceljak and her husband Paul and their three children PJ, Hannelore, and Joey, and Monica Biro and her daughter Savannah.
