Obituary of Helen M. Dunn

South Bound Brook, NJ – Helen M. Dunn, 90, entered into eternal rest at her home on December 2, 2023 surrounded by her loving family.  Born in Brooklyn, NY, Helen lived in Belford and has been a resident of South Bound Brook for the past twenty years.

Helen enjoyed working as a school bus driver and her last employment was with New York City as a meter maid.  She had a love for Bingo, lottery, soap operas and until her death, was an avid beer drinker (that may be the secret to living to 90!)

Predeceased by her children; Geraldine, John and Suzanne Dunn and granddaughter Jacqueline Baez, Helen leaves behind her children; Helene and Eliazas Garcia, Raymond Dunn and Steven Dunn, as well as her three grandchildren; Ely, Alberto and Susan Callahan and great-granddaughter Jayelene Casique.

Family and friends may gather directly to St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 201 Vosseller Avenue, Bound Brook, NJ 08805 on Thursday, December 9, 2023 for a 10:00am funeral mass.  Burial will follow at Bound Brook Cemetery.
