Obituary of Patricia Ann Wlock
Tobyhanna, PA – Patricia Ann Wlock, 62, passed away on November 18, 2023 in Pennsylvania after a twenty year fight with Multiple Sclerosis. Born in Plainfield to Carolyn (Wilfrid) Bottone and the late Clemente Bottone, Patty lived in Middlesex and Dunellen prior to settling to Tobyhanna, PA.
She worked throughout her life as a Professional Make-Up Artist at Macy’s, Lord & Taylor in Bridgewater, NJ and Saks Fifth Avenue in New York City. In her youth, Patty had a strong faith in God and attended her Lutheran Church every Sunday with her grandfather Sven Filip Wilfrid. She enjoyed singing, spending quality time with her family and attending the Renaissance Fair and Medieval Times.
An animal lover, Patty enjoyed her pets and her favorite animal were wolves. She spent thirty-six wonderful years with her husband and twenty-nine amazing years with her daughter Brianne. Five years ago, Patty’s life changed when her granddaughter Bella Rae Wlock Ashmore, “Bean” was born.
Patty lost her husband Raymond Frank Edward Wlock just three months ago. She leaves behind her loving daughter Brianne Wlock, granddaughter Bella Rae, brother Dominick Bottone of Old Bridge and sister Debbie Velez of Middlesex. Patty had a special place in her heart for her two nieces and three nephews; Selena, Felicia, Daniel, Ryan and Connor as well as her daughter Brianne’s Italian boyfriend, Lorenzo Mauro.
Visitation will be held at Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Road, Middlesex, NJ 08846 on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 beginning at 10:00am. Concluding prayers will begin at 12:00pm and Patty will be laid to rest very close to her parents at Hillside Cemetery in Scotch Plains.
