Obituary of Florence Starr
Florence Starr, 95, passed away in Plainfield, NJ on August 19, 2022.
She was born in Plainfield, NJ on December 7, 1926 to the late Tony and Angelina Barletta.
She enjoyed cooking, listening to Italian music, watching cooking shows on tv, sitting outside in the sun and spending time with her family.
Florence is predeceased by her husband John Starr, Sr., son John Starr, Jr. and daughter Susan Decker.
She is survived by her four granddaughters, Tammy, Tiffany, Traci and Tina and 11 great grandchildren as well as several extended relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 beginning at 11am followed by a 1pm funeral service in the McCriskin – Gustafson Home For Funerals 2425 Plainfield Ave. South Plainfield, NJ 07080.
Following the funeral service Florence will be laid at Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains.
