Obituary of Kathryn A. Conway
Kathryn A. (McHugh) Conway, 95, passed away on June 16, 2022 at Clover Rest Home in Columbia, NJ.
Born in New York City, Mrs. Conway resided in Bayonne and Jersey City before moving to South Plainfield in 1955. She had raised her family and resided in South Plainfield for many years.
Employed as a retail sales clerk with Abraham & Straus Department Store for 17 years, she retired in 1984, and was a communicant of Sacred Heart RC Church in South Plainfield.
Predeceased by her sisters, Eileen O'Sullivan and Mary Schreiber, surviving are four children; daughters, Jane C. Germinski, Eileen O’Brien; sons, Michael W. Conway and his wife Rita and William T. Conway and his wife Pam.
Also surviving are 9 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.
Family and friends may join together for her funeral mass on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at 10 AM in the Church of the Sacred Heart, 149 South Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080.
Interment will follow in Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
