Obituary of Alice I. Stine

Whiting – Alice Irene (Haluska) Stine, 86, passed away on May 17, 2022 at CareOne at Somerset Valley in Bound Brook.  Born in Bound Brook to the late Joseph and Matilda (Hlopak) Haluska, Alice lived in North Plainfield until retiring to Whiting in 2001.

She worked as a school van driver for the North Plainfield School District.  She loved spending time down the shore and at Atlantic City.  Alice was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Whiting and in her spare time, she loved Bingo and slot machines.  Above all things, Alice enjoyed time spent with her husband.

Predeceased by her two sisters; Helen Beyerl and Margaret Mauro, Alice leaves behind her husband of sixty-three years, Allen, daughter Susan Colacci and her husband Mike of Middlesex, sons; Douglas Stine and his wife Karen of Lebanon and Robert Stine and his wife Dawn of Honey Brook, PA and ten grandchildren.

A memorial gathering will be held at Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Road, Middlesex, NJ 08846 on Monday, May 23, 2022 from 9:00am to 11:00am.  An 11:30 funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church in Middlesex and a private mausoleum entombment will be held at the Mausoleum of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Cemetery in Whiting.
