Obituary of Lucille DeFillipo
Lucille “Lucy” DeFillipo, 100, passed away on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at home in South Plainfield.
Born and raised in North Plainfield, Mrs. DeFillipo resided in Mantoloking as well as Lakewood prior to relocating to South Plainfield in 2012.
A true family woman who took pride in keeping her home tidy, Lucy loved to bake a wide variety of desserts.
Predeceased by all of her siblings; Carmella, Louis, Frank, Thomas and Nicholas Importico, Lucy is survived by her husband, Vincent DeFillipo and son, Kenneth and his wife Rosa of Gladstone as well numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, 18, 2022 at 9:45am in the McCriskin – Gustafson Home For Funeral 2425 Plainfield Ave. South Plainfield, NJ 07080 followed by a 10:30am funeral mass at Sacred Heart RC Church, South Plainfield.
Lucy will be laid to rest at Holy Redeemer Cemetery, South Plainfield following mass.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 17, 2022 from 5-8pm in the funeral home.
