Obituary of Arlene J. Hochstadter
South Plainfield – Arlene J. Hochstader, 76, passed away early Christmas morning, December 25, 2021 at JFK Medical Center in Edison.
Born in Plainfield to the late Dominick and Sue Costanzo, Arlene was raised in the Borough of South Plainfield. She resided in Manahawkin for a number of years in the 1980s, then settled back to South Plainfield.
She enjoyed reading, playing games on her computer and taking trips to Atlantic City with her husband of 41 years, John. Above all, she looked forward to her time spent with her twin grandsons.
Predeceased by two brothers, Joseph and Daniel Costanzo; surviving are her husband, John Hochstader, beloved daughter, Robin Tutelman and her husband Jeff; son, Thomas Ventriglia and wife Barbara and four grandchildren, Justin and Sean Tutelman and Lauren and Anthony Ventriglia.
Funeral services are private and under the direction of the McCriskin – Gustafson Home for Funerals.
