Obituary of Mark A. Edgerton
Piscataway, NJ – Mark A. Edgerton, 67, passed away on July 13, 2021 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick with his loving wife at his side. Born in Somerville to the late Nelson and Gretchen (Prosser) Edgerton, Mark was raised in Martinsville and lived a short time in Bound Brook before settling to Piscataway when he met and married the love of his life, Nancy, almost forty years ago.
He was employed as a Production Supervisor for Manley Performance Products in Lakewood. An avid outdoorsman, Mark loved to hunt and belonged to the Manville Rod and Gun Hunting Club, Manville Sportsmen Club, and Somerset County Fish and Game Protective Association. He was a fan of the NY Yankees and could always be found cracking a joke or quoting lines from movies. His very favorite of which was My Cousin Vinny. Mark was very sentimental when it came to music and enjoyed singing and listening to Oldies.
Predeceased by his older brother Scott, Mark leaves behind his loving wife of almost forty years; Nancy M. (Rickvalsky) and their two sons; Brian of New York and Gary of California. Mark is also survived by his brother Eric of North Carolina and Eric’s wife, Pat.
A gathering honoring Mark’s life will be held on Sunday, July 18, 2021 at Piscataway Funeral Home, 18 Stelton Road, Piscataway, NJ 08854 from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm. Beginning 4:30 pm, family will have a service including tributes of Mark’s life and concluding with prayers.
