Dear Uncle Joe, Barbara, MaryLynn, Joey and your families,
I want to be there with all of you during this difficult time but I am home recovering still. I’m sure you all know that Aunt Dolly was my favorite Aunt. (I’m probably speaking for my sister and brothers too!) We loved going to visit at your house, more than you’ll ever know. Aunt Dolly always had an upbeat, happy and fun personality! You followed the rules at her house, but never did they feel unreasonable. I remember she made great food and was a gracious and generous hostess. Her sewing skills were top notch, I remember seeing dresses she made that looked like they were straight out of one of the high end stores, but even better! I especially remember when I was young and ‘granny’ dresses were the style, I admired one she made for MaryLynn so much-that she made me one in yellow gingham material!! Yellow granny glasses and all! I was thrilled to the moon and back! All I know is that when I think of her or anything that has to do with her, it’s always a fond and loving memory. She shared a lot of love with her family. You all are so lucky to have had her in your lives, as are we. She will be missed and never forgotten. Please know I am there with you all in my heart and mind. Please let’s all keep in touch as life is so precious. I’m hoping your family, friends and time help heal your hearts.
