Obituary of Bette Frances Majerski

South Plainfield -  Bette Frances Majerski, 104, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 19, 2021 at her sons home in Germansville, PA.

Born in 1916, Bette was a lifelong resident of South Plainfield and an original member of Our Lady of Czestochowa RC Church.  Bette resided in Palm Harbor Florida during winters for several years and recently relocated with her son in Germansville, PA.

Bette enjoyed spending time at the South Plainfield Seniors in South Plainfield and crocheting afghans for the members of her family.  In her younger years, Bette was an avid bowler and traveler;  Bette welcomed in the new Millennium with her children and grandchildren in Spain.

Bette is survived by her two children, Walter S. Majerski, Jr. and wife Elsie of Germansville, PA and Joanne Lambert and husband Thomas of Palm Harbor,FL; eight grandchildren, two step grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at 10AM in Our Lady of Czestochowa RC Church, South Plainfield followed by burial in Resurrection Burial Park, Piscataway. Family and friends may gather in South Plainfield Funeral Home at 9AM.

During this ongoing pandemic, according to Executive Orders and the CDC guidelines, we kindly ask that face masks must be worn while visiting, to be mindful of physical distancing to the best of your ability, and are asking visitors to minimize time spent indoors to allow everyone a chance to pay their respects.
