Obituary of Josephine M. Rosenski

North Plainfield – Josephine M. Rosenski, 87, passed away Saturday, January 23, 2021 at JFK Medical Center in Edison.

Born in Plainfield, Josephine worked for National Starch & Chemical Company as a chemist for 46 years.  Her passion in life was caring for her son, John; family and partner, Charles Reti.  She will be remembered as a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and sister. 

Predeceased by her parents, Anthony and Lena Morella and brother, Herminio Morella; surviving are her loving sister, Antoinette Lynch; brother, Anthony Morella; son, John R. Rosenski; two granddaughters, Melissa and Nicole and four great grandchildren, Ashleigh, Donna, Abigail and Samantha.  She will also be missed by many nieces and nephews.

A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at 10:30AM in St. Joseph’s Church, 41 Manning Avenue, North Plainfield, NJ 07060.   Family and friends may gather in McCriskin – Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue South Plainfield NJ 07080 prior to mass beginning at 8:30AM.

Cremation will be held privately.

During this ongoing pandemic, according to Executive Orders and the CDC guild lines, we kindly ask that face masks must be worn while visiting, to be mindful of physical distancing to the best of your ability, and are asking visitors to minimize time spent indoors to allow everyone a chance to pay their respects.
