Jack Joseph Thomas
Died Sept. 25, 2020 at age 80. Born and raised in Linden, NJ. Jack was a Middlesex Borough Resident for 54 years. Loving Husband and Father survived by wife Claire Thomas, daughters Sharon Thomas and Valerie Sylvester, and 3 grandsons.
Jack served in the US Navy, as a machinist mate, on destroyers USS Cory DD817 and USS Henley DD762. After his tour of duty, he had a long professional career as a machinist and tool and dye maker. In retirement, Jack was a lifetime member of the National Association of Destroyer Veterans (the Tin Can Sailor Association) and belonged to the Middlesex American Legion.
Funeral will be on Wednesday Sept. 30. Viewing: Middlesex Funeral Home 8am. Mass: Our Lady of Mt. Virgin 9:30am. Burial at Holy Trinity Cemetery, Perth Amboy.
