Obituary of Marjorie Ann Sutter

Marjorie Ann Sutter, 88, died Monday, January 13, 2020 in Powerback Rehab in Piscataway. Born in Terrytown, NY, Marjorie graduated from Newtown High School in New York where she was a apart of the Arista Society. She relocated to Dunellen, before settling to Piscataway Township over 66 years ago where she raised her family with her late husband, Emil. A longtime member of New Durham Chapel in Piscataway, Marjorie taught Sunday School and volunteered in various capacities. She enjoyed crocheting, reading but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Surviving are her five children, Dr. David Sutter and wife Sue of York, PA, Ruth Brookman of Piscataway, Susan Wolbert and husband Kevin of Pottstown, PA, Daniel Sutter and wife Donna of Piscataway and John Sutter of Piscataway and two sisters, Betty Woehr and husband Dave of Lakewood and Nancy Wojtowicz of Arden, NC. She will also be missed by her fourteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. Funeral services will be led by her grandson, Pastor Sam Sutter and co-celebrating is her son, Dr. David Sutter on Friday, January 17, 2020 at 11:30AM in the New Durham Chapel 225 New Durham Rd, Piscataway, NJ 08854. Burial will follow in Lake Nelson Cemetery, Piscataway. Family and friends may gather in the New Durham Chapel on Thursday from 6-9PM and Friday from 9-11AM.
