I often fondly remember that I had worked quite hard to get into his IC Design group, my first project that he gave me to work on (a RF-Modulator-Video-Clamp chip), and for which I ended up receiving a 'Outstanding Achievement Award' for first-cut fully functional device, along with my first patent for the Video Clamp circuit.
Bernie was a tough Supervisor, but a good and kind man behind that appearance. I realized my dream of becoming a circuit designer and learned a lot under his guidance. I hope and pray he rests in peace. Moti, a former od Bernie's IC-design group RCA , Somerville.
