Connie (and Joe) were the best neighbors anyone could ever have. They welcomed myself and my wife when we first moved in with open arms. When our son was born, they took to him like he was one of their own grandchildren. They always attended his birthday parties and always remembered him on Christmas.
Connie once told my wife that she would watch my son when he would play outside, or be walking home from school, and would always help him by purchasing something for his various fund raisers.
She will be sorely missed as we have come to think of her as an extra grandmother.
The only solace we have is the knowledge that she now rests with Joe in the arms of Jesus and is at peace.
