Cousin, you are missed. I will cherish the memories we made hanging out together in the Bronx as kids. So many goofy things we did, so many laughs! I probably never told you how happy I was when my Mom said we were going to your place.
This year, I was looking forward to a camping trip near you and Patrick, sitting by a campfire and catching up again. I regret not making that work last year. We are still looking forward to making a trip this year!
I will always remember your larger than life heart, your welcoming spirit, your warm and contagious laughter! That laugh is unlike any I have ever heard! Mariann, your laugh has a way of building beyond the limits of the human body, truly a Heavenly gift! Your strength is so evident in the challenges you overcame, like caring for your Mom and emerging strong from two terrorist attacks. Your love and devotion to your husband was allways on your heart and mind when you spoke to me about him. You truly found a good man in Patrick! I am so sorry Patrick!
I thank you for these things and so much more cousin.
You and Patrick built something that many others could not. I could see that early on and that is why the choice was easy to make when the time came to choose godparents for my daughter. I considered no one else as a couple or individuals.
I pray you are safe in Jesus arms, spreading your love and laughter in Heaven!
Patrick, I pray for peace and healing for you cousin. We are looking forward to seeing you soon!
Love always,
cousin Tom

I met Marianne while working at fashion bug. She was very helpful and kind. She always talked about her husband and all the fun trips they went on and fun things they did together. She always invited the ladies from Fashion Bug to here summer bar-barques and she always liked to have fun. Marianne the world will miss such a sweet person, you will be missed.

Mariann, I can remember the first day we met, Early 70s. It was more than just a friendship, it was an immediate we are sisters, You always greeted my mother with Bendicion ma, and I did the same with your mom, so many wonderful memories and alot of laughs. One of our greatest laughs was on Holloween night your huge Clown pants incident, they were so huge you asked me to get in them with you and here we are both in the pants and we were laughing so hard as we had to stand and try to walk in them. Of course you and your crazy self had to forget that, because all of a sudden your home phone rang and you were like oh thats my mother, ran to answer it and down we went like a bag of potatoes, you landed right on top of me, and your concern wasn't on me but I gotta answer the phone, but we are still laughing so hard, yeap we peed the pants. needless to say you got to the phone on the 4th ring, It was Mama. That is just one of many memories, But I want to let everyone know what my girl meant to me, We always stood by one another, in the good especially bad times. We had lost touch but thanks to FB we found each other again, in 2014 when my mother passed you immediately called me and said I flying in tomorrow, still in my huge grief hearing your voice and hearing what you said it was like your bringing one of the many great memories of mom and our childhood, you had know idea how much I needed you my sister, You made me laugh the next day. My heart will ache for your calls, your voice, especially your laugh, the plans we were making this summer for you to fly dpwm again and spend some time here at your other home. But God had another plan for you, He needed you back home, to eternal life, I strongly believe that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord, This last journey we all must take alone. because that is when your Guardian Angel takes over, guiding you, in the now spiritual journey to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Many don't know how we talked about God especially in the last 5 yrs. you would always called me to pray for you or with you when you were missing your mom or mine or just worried about something, and immediately I would pray and not hang up until you laughed,. Well girl it doesnt stop, you are in heaven, so its your turn pray for me and mine and I will continue to pray for yours. I may not be there to celebrate your life, so i will be looking up, smiling and loving you. Give both our moms a hug and kiss, I love you forever My sister. Till we meet again. Make em Laugh Up there Mar... xoxo

My memories of Mariann span many decades! They start with the day she was born. Even then we saw the smile that would become the wonderful laugh so many are familiar with. I will miss her frequent phone calls and yet I can't delete her number from my phone, at least not yet. My prayers are not only for her but also for Pat whose love for Mariann is well known by many.

Dear Paddy,
We only met Mariann a few times but her vibrant personality made us feel like old friends. She made us laugh. We also saw the love that you two shared. It is a very special gift to have love like that. You were both blessed. We will keep you both in our prayers. May the Holy Spirit give you the strength to face each day; may you be embraced by the love of your family & friends; may your heart be warmed by the knowledge that you both will be united again in Heaven. Mariann is a candle that will burn brightly forever.

Oh Patrick, mu heart aches for you and Mariann. I witnessed the love when I met her in the Brpnx right after her mother's passing. I remember thinking.... What an open loving soul, just perfect for you and so deserving for each other, Even tho we moved so far away from you both and your family of fur babies I still felt close bc of our FB communication (about the only positive thing of the site is keeping in PERSONAL touch with distant loved ones) sadly so.
I loved her the first day we met. you seemed so happy, I was so happy for you-you and I both know you needed and deserved that type of love.
I wish I could console you, just know my hand is always extended. I pray for you both everyday.

Patrick, I have Mariann and you in my thoughts and prayers.
I remember going with Mariann, my cousin, to the WTC in December 2001 and we said a prayer together.
I will never forget all the fun we had going to back-to-back Springsteen concerts at Shea. Mariann said "Cuz, I'm all Bruced out" ...
'My Cuz' will always have a special place in my heart!!!
