Obituary of Nicholas S. Rafalko
Keansburg, NJ – Nicholas S. Rafalko, 33, died suddenly at his residence on Saturday, March 30, 2019. Born and raised in Elizabeth, Nicholas resided in Keansburg.
He was an avid fan of music, memes and sports, especially the Florida Gators and the NJ Devils.
Predeceased by his father Frank, Nicholas leaves behind his loving family; mother Angelina (Spohn) Rafalko, paternal grandparents; Stan and Judy Rafalko, maternal grandparents Gus and Theresa Guiro-Spohn, sisters Tiffany Van Houten and husband Mike and Krista Brand and husband Lenny and his brothers, Frank Rafalko and fiancé Ryan DaRoja and Matthew Rafalko.
He will be missed by his niece and nephews Allie, Mikey, Ryan, Brayden and soon-to-be niece Emersyn along with the remainder of his large family, including several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080. At the request of the family, cremation will be held private.
In lieu of flowers, monetary donations sent to the family to assist with offsetting the funeral expenses would be appreciated.
