Edison - Irma Alma Kuehn Pullen, 99, of Edison, formerly of Westfield and Point Pleasant Beach, died on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at Brighton Gardens of Edison.
Born in 1916 in Glendale, LI, she graduated from NY University at Albany and prior to her marriage, Irma taught high school business and math.
Irma was involved with Arc of Union and Ocean Counties as well as various Arc workshops. She was an avid water color artist and also enjoyed reading and gardening.
She is predeceased by her husband of 58 years, A. Vandusen Pullen in 1999, daughter Janet in 1995, daughter-in-law Jeanne in 2016; sisters, Evelyn Peller and Ruth Peller and a brother, Theodore Kuehn.
Surviving are her son, Henry V. Pullen of South Plainfield and daughter, Martha Bullock (Ian) of Vermont. She will also be missed by three grandchildren, Brian and Marc Pullen and Emma Bullock; four great grandchildren, Brian Jr., Michael, Samantha and Zachary and her sister
Dorothy Thiel.
Cremation will be held privately. Interment to be held in Old Tenant Cemetery, Tenant, NJ.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, South Plainfield NJ.
