Emila Jayne Spisso
Loving Mother and Grandmother
Emila Jayne Spisso, 78, of New Braunfels, Tx., passed away Sunday December 30, 2007 at the McKenna Memorial Hospital. She was born February 27, 1929 in Chatham, New York to Verner E. Frink & Emila Jane (Biggs) Frink. Jayne was a devoted mother and grandmother. Jayne was an avid gardener, an excellent baker and seamstress and in addition enjoyed knitting and crocheting and vacationing at the Jersey Shore.
She is survived by her three children, Susan Kellman and her husband Peter of Colonia, Deborah Matthews and her husband Merle of New Braunfels, TX., and Thomas Spisso, Sr. And his wife Donna of Toms River. Her grandchildren, Patrick Mann and his wife Stephanie, Heather Mann, Kristin Mann, Thomas Spisso, Jr., Michael Aurora and his wife Sharron, Matthew Aurora and his fiancé Gillian, Timothy Aurora and his wife Erica, Anthony Spisso, Christa Spisso and Christopher Pine. And her two great grandchildren, Megan & Sera Mann and two great-granddaughters soon to be born. Her loving companion Fido, and numerous extended family members and dear friends.
She is predeceased by her parents , her husband, Daniel J. Spisso, Jr., brother, Verner Frink, William Frink, and Pete Frink. Sisters, Marjorie Van Scoy and Hildred Hilton.
A memorial service will begin at 11:30 AM on Monday, January 7, 2008 in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080.
Family and friend may gather between 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
Interment of her cremated remains will follow services in Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains.
In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to the American Lung Association.
