Obituary of Eileen T. Fitzgerald

Middlesex - Eileen T. Fitzgerald, 72, died peacefully on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at home. Born to the late Mary and James Higgins in Manhattan, Eileen settled to Middlesex in 1973 and has lived in the borough since. She worked in the office of Brooks Warehouse for over 30 years before retiring. Eileen enjoyed crocheting, knitting, reading and puzzles. She most enjoyed the time spent with her family. Predeceased by her husband, Jerry who died in 2006; surviving are her three children, Lisa Jones and husband Jeff of Asbury, Jerry Fitzgerald and wife Kelli-Ann of Whitehouse Station and Christopher Fitzgerald and fiancé Shannon Lane of Middlesex. She will also be missed by her two granddaughters, Madison and Haley Fitzgerald and sister, Carol Callahan. Funeral services will begin on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 10AM in the Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Road, Middlesex NJ 08846 followed by burial in Resurrection Burial Park, Piscataway. Family and friends may gather in the funeral home on Friday, February 9, 2018 from 2-4PM & 7-9PM.
