Dunellen - Shawn Leyden, 45, died unexpectedly Wednesday, December 26, 2018.
Born and raised in Queens, NY, Shawn resided in Piscataway before settling to Dunellen where he began to raise his family. A proud father of five, Shawn was a devoted father and business man.
One of the owners and operators of Mirror Image Barbershop in Bound Brook, Shawn was known to be a "jack of all trades". He recently started working for PSE&G as a HVAC installer, enjoyed carpentry and was a talented artist.
Shawn also enjoyed watching football, skiing and riding motorcycles. He was a true family man and friend whom will be missed by all who knew him.
Surviving are his wife, Danielle Nieves - Leyden; five children, Aiyanna, Olivia, Melanie, Xavier and Skylar; parents, Janice and Howard Noels; two siblings, Colin Leyden and Janel Leydon - Noels and father Stafford Leyden.
He will also be missed by a host of extended relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Leyden children for future educational needs.
