Middlesex, NJ - Arnold R. Vogel, 87, passed away on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Care One Somerset Valley in Bound Brook. Born in Rochester, NY to the late Frank and Reba (Dewald) Vogel, Arnold lived in Duryea, PA before settling to Middlesex over fifty years ago. He retired from Johnson and Johnson where he worked for many years on the production line. He was a member of Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church in Middlesex and loved taking trips to the casino and playing the lottery. He was known to be a people person, always being a jokester and was a great singer and dancer. Predeceased by his loving wife Catherine Demis Vogel in 2014 and by five siblings, Arnold leaves behind his children; daughter Patty Foti of Middlesex, Gary (Barbara) of Duryea, PA and David (Pat) of Washington, NJ. He will be missed by his sister Gladys Gross of Florida, three grandchildren; Heather Vogel and Nicky and David Foti along with four great-grandchildren; Anesa, Michaya, Jaden and Amire. Visitation will be held in the Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Road, Middlesex, NJ 08846 on Monday, October 29, 2018 from 4-7 pm and on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 beginning 8:15 am. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 beginning 8:45 am in the funeral home followed by a 9:30 am Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church. Mausoleum entombment will follow at Resurrection Burial Park in Piscataway.
