Obituary of Lynn G. Rinker

Middlesex, NJ - Lynn G. (Friery) Rinker, 61, went to heaven to join her husband Jim on Monday, October 8, 2018. Born in Weehawken to the late George H. and Catherine M. (O'Connor) Friery, Lynn lived in Piscataway and has been a resident of Middlesex since 1993. Lynn could often be found working at Sal's Deli or Middlesex Texas Weiner and in her earlier years, she was a crossing guard and lunch aide in Middlesex. Lynn enjoyed arts and crafts and loved spending time with her friends and family, especially her two sons and grandsons. Predeceased by her best friend and husband James A. Rinker Sr. in September of 2017, Lynn leaves behind her two sons; James A. Rinker Jr. of Middlesex and Kevin J. Rinker and his wife Stephanie of Palmerton, PA. She will be deeply missed by her two grandsons; Wyatt Joseph and Quentin Charles, her siblings; Debbie Myers and husband Chuck, Kim Thyen, Cathy Zirkle and husband Chris, and George Friery and wife Liz as well as numerous extended family members and friends. Visitation will take place at Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Road, Middlesex, NJ 08846 on Sunday, October 14, 2018 from 1-5 pm and on Monday, October 15, 2018 beginning at 8:45 am. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Monday, October 15, 2018 at 9:15 am followed by a 10:00 am Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church in Middlesex. Lynn will be laid to rest beside her husband at Resurrection Burial Park in Piscataway.
