Obituary of Miguel Angel Aponte

Miguel Angel Aponte, 89, of Piscataway, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 26, 2018 surrounded by the love of his family at Abington Care Center in Green Brook. Born and raised in Ponce, Puerto Rico to the late Julio Aponte Maldonado and Paula Trujillo Aponte, he went on to work as a machine operator for Rowl Plug Co. and General Hose Co., before becoming a Clerk with Merrill Lynch in Piscataway. Miguel was always mechanically inclined and was able to do small appliance repairs. He enjoyed the quality time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren. Surviving are his beloved wife, Hilda Aponte nee Lamboy, his loving son Miguel and wife Carmen, his cherished grandchildren Tara and husband John, Brandon and wife Yesari, his dear siblings Jesus Aponte, Edwin Aponte, Ismael Aponte, Ida Aponte, Mary Aponte, and Margarita Aponte, as well as his extended family. Family and friends are welcome to gather for visitation on Friday, August 31, 2018 from 3:00 to 6:00PM at the Piscataway Funeral Home, 18 Stelton Road, Piscataway. Funeral services will begin at 6:00pm at the funeral home.
