Obituary of Anne K. Butman

Anne Kerrigan Butman, 51, of Kendall Park, passed away suddenly on June 28, 2018 at her home. Born in Newark to Joseph Kerrigan and the late Mary Kerrigan (nee Hughes) she was raised in Middlesex and was a former resident of Dayton before settling to Kendall Park. Mrs. Butman worked for Rutgers University in Piscataway as a Project manager for the OIT-Telecommunications Division. Anne was one of a kind and her incredible intelligence and ability to problem solve was more than impressive. She was a Girl Scouts of America Leader and taught CCD at St. Cecelia's R.C. Church in Kendall Park. Anne enjoyed photography, writing, and her book club very much. She was also a foodie who enjoyed a good meal and the quality time spent with her loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Elizabeth Kerrigan in 2017. Surviving are her beloved husband James Charles Butman, her cherished daughter Emily Mae Butman, her dear father Joseph A. Kerrigan, her loving brother Joseph P. Kerrigan and wife Jennifer, her dear nephew Padraig, as well as her extended family and friends who will miss her dearly. Family and friends are welcome to gather for visitation on Sunday, July 1, 2018 from 12:00 - 2:00PM and 4:00-6:00PM at the Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Road, Middlesex. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30AM on Monday, July 2, 2018 at Our Lady of Mt. Virgin R.C. Church, Harris Avenue, Middlesex.
