Obituary of Mercedes "Mercy" Carovillano

North Plainfield - Mercedes "Mercy" Carovillano, 45, passed away Monday, November 16, 2015 at Trinitas Regional Medical Center in Elizabeth, NJ. Born in Trenton, Mercy grew up in Upstate New York and Vermont before settling back to New Jersey. Mercy attended beauty school and had a passion for hair. She enjoyed cutting her son's hair, animals, especially dogs, rabbits and horses and painting. She also loved cars. Mercy enjoyed mopar muscle cars and was a talented self-taught mechanic. Pre deceased by her grandfather, Nick A., surviving are her sons, Justin Neylon and Devin Carovillano; parents, Laura and Ralph Runyan II; brother, Ralph III and wife Michelle; fiancé Ronald Kolacki; maternal grandmother Adeline Carovillano; paternal grandparents, Ralph Sr. and Kathleen Runyan and nephew, Ralph Runyan IV. She will also be missed by her expected first granddaughter, Ava Luna Neylon, who is due in February. Cremation services will be private. Family and friends will be invited to Mercy's memorial service Friday, November 20, 2015 at 1PM in Somerset Hills Crematory Mausoleum Chapel, 95 Mt. Airy Road, Basking Ridge NJ 07920. Burial of her cremated remains will follow in Somerset Hills Memorial Park.
