Middlesex, NJ Helen M. (Williamson) Eckert, 81, entered into eternal life on Sunday, April 27, 2014 at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville. Born in Orange, NJ to her late parents William and Dorothy (Harding) Williamson, she grew up in Orange and has been a resident of Middlesex for over fifty years.After the loss of her husband, Helen moved to Watchung Terrace in 2007.She enjoyed cooking, reading and loved trips to the jersey shore, especially Point Pleasant. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Frank Richard Eckert who died August 15, 2005.Helen leaves behind her loving family; daughter Sharon San Phillips and her husband William and son Gary Eckert and his wife Joyce all of Middlesex; two adored grandchildren, Melissa and Joseph Eckert and a great-grandson Brody Eckert. She also leaves behind her sister-in-law Shirley E. Fagel of Watchung Terrace, Middlesex and niece Kristin Rucci and her husband Phil of Barnegat.Visitation will take place in Middlesex Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Thursday, May 1, 2014 from 9:30 am until the 10:00 am funeral service. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery in Orange.
