Obituary of Tecla Ann Wisk

Tecla Ann Wisk, 82, of Green Brook, passed away peacefully on December 15, 2017 at Robert Wood Johnson University Medical Center, Somerset in Somerville.
Born on Christmas Eve of 1934 and raised in Elizabeth, NJ to the late Frank and Helen Zielski (nee Marks), Tecla settled in Green Brook in 1961.
Mrs. Wisk worked for the Bell Telephone Company, Great Eastern Store and Prints N Things, before spending a fulfilling 33 year career as an office manager at the Somerville Senior Center in Somerville.
Tecla enjoyed trips to Atlantic City, shopping, and taking vacations with her family, especially cruises. She was a dog lover who enjoyed the quality time spent with her family, most of all with her grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joseph W. Wisk in 2003 and her dear brother Frank Zielski.
Surviving are her loving children, Joseph D. Wisk and wife Carrie, Patrick W. Wisk, and Tecla E. Corrado and husband Joseph, her six cherished grandsons, Jayson, Joey, Matthew, Travis, Kevin, and Joshua, as well as her extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 from 4:00 to 8:00PM at the Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Road, Middlesex.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00AM on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at Saint John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 317 1st Street, Dunellen. Family and friends are welcome to gather at the funeral home beginning at 9:00AM
Interment will follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.
