South Plainfield - Marie S. Schoen, 97, passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2018 in The Elms of Cranbury in Cranbury.
Marie was an avid traveler, visiting many countries including, Italy, Ireland, Germany and the Caribbean. She also enjoyed playing bingo games in the South Plainfield Senior Center, knitting and crocheting.
She is predeceased by her husband, John and son, John. Surviving is her daughter, Jane Pierro and husband James of Edison; grandson, Nicholas and wife, Jenna of Hillsdale and a great granddaugher, Juliana.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 beginning at 10AM in the South Plainfield Funeral Home, 2456 Plainfield Avenue South Plainfield NJ 07080 followed by a 11:15am funeral mass at St. Helena's Church in Edison.
Entombment will follow in Restland Memorial Park, East Hanover
Visitation will be in the funeral home Tuesday from 5-8PM.
