Middlesex, NJ Eleanor (Cuchessi) Loprete, 90, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. Born and raised in Newark to her late parents Umberto and Eleonora (Ventimiglia) Cuchessi, she settled to Middlesex in 1959.A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Eleanor spent her time caring for her family as a homemaker. She was active within the parish community of Our Lady of Mount Virgin in Middlesex where she belonged to their Altar Rosary Society and was a Columbiette. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Patrick John Loprete, Sr., four brothers and two sisters.Eleanor leaves behind her loving and devoted children; son Patrick Loprete, Jr. and his wife JoAnn of Severna Park, MD and daughters Marianne Harkness of Dallas, TX and Michele Myers and her husband Howard of Edison. Eleanor is also survived by her three cherished grandchildren; Austin Harkness and his wife Leila, Alan Loprete and his wife Crystal and Brittany Myers and adored great-granddaughter Gabriella Loprete. Visitation will be held in the Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Road, Middlesex, NJ 08846 on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9pm and on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 from 8:15am until 8:45am.Funeral services will begin 8:45am in the funeral home on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 followed by a 9:30 am Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Parish in Middlesex. At the request of the family, final disposition will be held privately.
