Filomena Rosie Salvemini, 97, passed away peacefully on August 9, 2017 at Abington Care Center in Green Brook, NJ.
Born in Brooklyn, NY to the late Angelo and Jennie Annuziata, she settled in Middlesex in 1957, and was a communicant at Our Lady of Mt. Virgin R.C. Church, Middlesex.
Filomena enjoyed puzzles and movies, and spending quality time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 57 years Antonio Salvemini and by her sister Rosie.
Surviving are her loving children, Anthony Salvemini and wife Jane, Jo Stevens, and Angie Peer and husband Eric, her adored grandchildren, Karen Salvemini, Michael Salvemini and his wife Suraiya, and Sarah Castillo and her husband Rick, and her great granddaughter, Catherine Salvemini, her sisters Mary, Gloria and Genevieve.
Visitation will be held from 9:00-10:00AM at the Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Road, Middlesex. Funeral services will be held at 10:30AM at the funeral home, with interment to follow at Resurrection Burial Park, Piscataway.
