Muriel E. Martin, passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at her home in Middlesex with her loving family by her side. Born in Jersey City, NJ, she has been a sixty-six year resident of the borough.
Muriel spent her time caring for her family as a homemaker. She enjoyed the music of Frank Sinatra, was a lifelong Mets fan and regularly patronized the Perkins Restaurant.
Predeceased by her husband Raymond J. Martin, son Bruce, and three siblings, Muriel leaves behind her loving children; Doug Lipari (Debbie) of Middlesex, Kathleen Blust (Tom) of Frisco, TX and David Martin (Dana Miller) of South Plainfield. She is also survived by her special friend Gerri Sarboukh of Middlesex, four cherished grandchildren; Sherri Jones (Dave) and Kurt Lipari of Middlesex, Brian Blust of St. Petersburg, FL and Colleen Hawkins (Brian) of Schertz, TX and seven adored great-grandchildren: Corrine, Claudia, Connor, Dylan, Cody, Kaitlyn, and Kylie.
Visitation will be held at Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Road, Middlesex, NJ 08846 on Sunday, October 25, 2015 from 2-5pm and on Monday, October 26, 2015 from 10-11 am. Burial will follow at Bound Brook Cemetery in Bound Brook.
In lieu of flowers, donations sent to the Middlesex Rescue Squad would be appreciated.
